Lanphier and Sessock were vital to the Lights’ comeback victory over Brooklyn FC last Saturday
Las Vegas Lights FC goalkeeper Charlie Lanphier and defender Nyk Sessock were named to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 24 on Tuesday morning.
Lanphier and Sessock earned their spot on the Team of the Week after excellent individual performances in the Lights’ 2-1 comeback win over Brooklyn FC at Cashman Field.
Lanphier made three acrobatic saves, keeping the Lights in the match after falling behind early in the first half. Sessock helped seal the comeback after assisting Johnny Rodriguez with a precise header as the clock approached the 90th minute mark.

Sessock created five chances up front, kept an 88% passing accuracy rate, and made nine defensive contributions to round out a top overall performance.
