Alejandro Salazar served our country for 8 years with a final rank of Sergeant.

Over the last 10 years, Salazar has been working with the Wounded Warrior Project as an Event Coordinator, setting up training events and large group outings for veterans living in the Nevada and Arizona regions.

“Mike” was deployed to Vietnam in November of 1969. After 7 months, “Mike” received a meritorious mast recognizing his meritorious service, resulting in a promotion to corporal. He served a second deployment and spent an additional 13 months in Vietnam.

Mike now gives back to the community by serving on the board of the Nevada Veterans Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization formed to specifically build and provide support to a veteran’s guest house, which supports service members, veterans, and their families/caregivers while undergoing medical treatment.
